The Boys are Back in Town.
Today, was the first day of Pittsburgh Penguins Training Camp 2010.
So, all the boys are literally back in town.
It was the first time most of the players had been in, and skated on the rink in the new Consol Energy Centre.
There were many great things to say about it.
Yesterday, the Penguins became public with their slogan for the first year at the Consol Energy Centre.
So officially,
Destiny has a new home.
Open practice tomorrow (Sunday)!
Four days until preseason!
(Nineteen until regular.)
On a side note,
Malkin really wants to win the Stanley Cup again this year.
Dan Bylsma says:
"I keep getting smacked in the face with that from ‘Geno’ when I ask him about what he wants from his season and what he thinks is good and bad. He thinks he had a bad season last year because we didn’t win the Stanley Cup, not because of the points he did or didn’t get.
When you talk to him about his future goals, he wants to win Stanley Cups here in Pittsburgh. I am not surprised he gave you that comment. When you have that team-oriented goal from your top guys, I think that is an awesome thing for our team.”*

I am Ridiculously Excited.
You know whats coming up soon...
HOCKEY!
Hooray! 24 days until the first regular season game.
Which is awesome. Of course.
So, regular season game tickets went on sale on Friday, and I would be super surprised if there are still any left.
Don your helmets and mouth guards, hockey season will soon be with us.
